Section 69 of The NAGALAND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE AND LIVESTOCK MARKETING (PROMOTION AND FACILITATION) ACT, 2020
Sale of notified Agricultural Produce in the Markets.
- (I)All notified agriculture produce shall ordinarily be sold in the market yar4/sub-inarket yards or in the private yards of the licence holder, subject to the provision of sub-section (2): Provided that the notified agricultural produce may be sold at other places also to a licence holder especially permitted in this behalf under this Act: Provided further that it will not be necessary to bring agricultural produce covered under contract farming to the market yardlsub-market yard/private yar d and if may be directly sold to the Contract Farming Sponsor from the farmers' fields
- (2)\Veighment or measurement or counting of all the notified agricultural produce including livestock so purchased shall be done by such a person and such system as is provided in. the Bye-laws or at any other place specified for the purpose by the Market Committee.
