Section 28 of The Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2023 — Chief Executive Officer to exercise powers under Punjab Act 24 of 1961

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Haryana Slum Areas (Improvements and Clearance) Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 24 of 1961), the Chief Executive Officer shall be deemed to be the competent authority for the purposes of slum clearance and redevelopment under Chapter IV of the said Act and shall have such powers and discharge such duties under the said Act for the said purposes, as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare.
