Preamble
Section 1 Short title and commencement.
Section 2 Amendment of section-1 of Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.
Section 3 Insertion of a new sub-section(17A) after sub-section(17) of Section-2 of the Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.- After the subsection(17) of Section-2 , the following new sub-section (17A) shall be inserted, namely:
Section 4 Insertion of a new sub-section (22) after sub-section (21) of Section-2 of the Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.
Section 5 Insertion of a new section-4A after section-4 of the Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.-
Section 6 Amendment of Section-19 of Bihar and Orissa Act.
Section 7 The amendment and substitution of the provisions under Chapter VIII, “Offences and Penalties” of the Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.- (i) Substitution of new section for section- 47 of the Bihar and Orissa Act II of 1915.- For section- 47 of the said Act the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(1)This Act may be called the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.
(2)It shall come into force at once.
