Section 8 of The Assam Development Authority Act, 1964 (Single Document — Appointment of Agencies

Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, the State Government may, from time to time appoint one or more Agencies for the purpose of securing the efficient discharge of the functions of an Authority, and in particular for the purpose of securing that those functions are exercised with due regard to the circumstances and requirements of particular local area for which the Authority is established.
