- (1)The Government may assign to Zilla Parishad, functions in relation to any matters to which the executive authority of the Government extends or in respect of functions which have been assigned to the State Government by the Central Government.
- (2)The Government may, by notification, withdraw or modify the functions assigned under sub-section (1).
