Under Section 43, the principal of the local government school is also included as a member because it is a recognised educational institution in the ward.
2The Chairperson of the Municipality and the Councillor of Ward 5 jointly nominate 20 people to the Ward Committee. They select Dr. Anil, a renowned public health expert working in the ward but residing in an adjacent municipality, as one of the 5 professional nominees. Under Section 43, this nomination is valid because professionals nominated under this clause do not have to be residents of that ward.
