Amendment of section 2. In the Assam Municipal Act, 1956, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in section 2, after clause (30), the following new clause
- (31)shall be inserted, namely:--
- (31)"Municipal Corporation" means a Municipal Corporation constituted under the Assam Municipal Corporation Act, 2023.
