Section 100 of The Assam Municipal (Amendment) Act, 2004 — Amendment of section 252

Amendment of section 252 100. In the principal Act, in section 252, for the existing sub-section (1), the following shall be substituted, namely:—

1. (1)No application for review under section 251 shall be heard or determined unless—
   1. (a)the application is presented within thirty days from the date of service of the notice of assessment or valuation; and
   2. (b)the amount of the rate, tax, fee or toll admitted by the applicant to be due has been paid or deposited in the office of the Municipal Board or Town Committee as the case may be.
