Section 3 of Uttarakhand Public Service (Horizontal Reservation for Skilled Sportspersons) (Amendment) Act, 2025 — Amendment of Section 3

In the Principal Act, section 3 shall be Substituted as follows, namely:- 3. In the process of direct recruitment, 04 percent horizontal reservation in the vacancies in public services and posts, on which recruitment is lo be done in favour of Skilled sportspersons of Uttarakhand state who have won medals/participated in sports al the lnternational/National level or have won medals in state level gaines shall be allowed as follows:- S.N0. Name of Competition Horizontal Reservation 1. Olympic Game8 Medals Winner/ Participation posts a' level-10 and below 2. WorldCup/world Championstrip/ Asia Gunes Medals Winner/ Participation posts at level-8 and below 3. Commonwealth Games/Asian Championship Medals Winner/ Participation posts a' level-7 and below 4. Common.wcath Championship/ lnternational University Games Medals Winner/ Participation PO§ts al level-6 and below 5. Natioml Gancs/ National CpanpioBship8 organized by recognised National Sports Associatdons/ All-India university Gancs/ Khelo India Yuulh Games Medals Winner posts at level-5 and below 6. State games organised by Uttarakhand Olympic Associatod/ State leyeL chanpious}iins organised by stale sports associations recognised by national Sports fedndons/ State level sports Mcha Kun`bh organised by Youth Welfare Department/ State level school gane§ onganised dy School Education Department/ State level university gapes onganised by H,igher Education Department Medals Winner Posts tt level-5 and below Provided that if suitable Skilled sportspersons are not available on the posts reserved for Skilled sportspersons under the state services, those posts shall not be carried forward rather, it shall be filled with qualified candidates coming in the order of proficiency of the same category.
