Section 2 of The Uttar Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2003 — Amendment of section 9 of U.P. Act no. 6 of 1974

In section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund Act, 1974 hereinafter referred to as the principal Act,— (a) in sub-section (1) for the words "five rupees" the words "ten rupees" shall be substituted. (b) after sub-section (4) the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely :— "(5) where in any case the Welfare Stamp referred to in sub-section (1) is not affixed on the Vakalatnama or is not filed by any Advocate the Court shall not permit such Advocate for further proceeding in that case."
