In the principal Act, in section 7, for sub-section (1), the following shall be substituted, namely,-
"(1) The Chief Justice of the High Court for the State of Telangana shall be the Chancellor of the University and in his absence, the acting Chief Justice of the High Court for the State of Telangana shall discharge the functions of the Chancellor.".
