Section 65 of The Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code, 1959 — Powers of Settlement, Deputy Settlement and Assistant Settlement Officers

Powers of Settlement, Deputy Settlement and Assistant Settlement Officers. —

1. (1)The State Government may invest any Settlement Officer or Deputy Settlement Officer or Assistant Settlement Officer with all or any of the powers of a Collector under this Code, to be exercised by him in such cases or classes of cases as the State Government may direct.
2. (2)The State Government may invest any Deputy Settlement Officer or Assistant Settlement Officer with all or any of the powers of a Settlement Officer under this Code or any other enactment for the time being in force.
