Section 45 of The Kerala Societies Registration Act, 2025 — Repeal and saving

Repeal and saving.—

1. (1)The Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Central Act No. 21 of 1860) to the extent to which it is in force in the erstwhile Malabar area referred to in sub-section
2. (2)of section 5 of the State Re-organisation Act, 1956 (Central Act 37 of 1956) shall cease to operate in that area and the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955 (12 of 1955) is hereby repealed.
3. (2)Notwithstanding such cessation of operation or repeal, anything done or deemed to have been done or any action taken or deemed to have been taken under such Acts shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
