Section 26 of The Bihar State Advocates’ Welfare Fund Act, 1983 — Power to summon witnesses and take evidence

Power to summon witnesses and take evidence.- The Trustee Committee and the Bar Council shall for the purposes of the enquiry under this Act have the same power as the vested in a civil court while trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, in respect of the following matters, namely;-

1. (1)Enforcing the attendance of any person or examining him on oath;
2. (2)Requiring the discovery and production of documents;
3. (3)Receiving evidence on affidavit;
4. (4)Issuing commissions, for the examination of witness;
