Section 1 of The Assam Local Rates (Amendment) Act, 1947 — Short title, Commencement and Extent

(1) This Act may be called the Assam Local Rates (Amendment) Act, 1947.(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.(3) It shall have the like extent as the said Regulation.
