- (1)The existing faculty of horticulture and forestry of Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishva Vidyalaya may further be split into different colleges according to requirements.
- (2)Each college shall comprise such departments of study as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (3)
- (a)There shall be a Board of Studies for each college of the University.
- (b)The Deans of various colleges shall be the Chairmen of the respective Board of Studies and Heads of the Departments of the college shall be the members thereof.
- (c)The Vice-Chancellor may nominate on the Board of Studies such other teachers of related subjects or sciences from the same or other colleges, as he may deem fit.
- (d)The duties of such Board of Studies shall be to prescribe syllabi so as to ensure integrated and well balanced courses of studies and other related matters concerning academics.
- (4)Each department of the college shall have a Head whose appointment, powers and duties shall be as may be prescribed by the Statutes, and who shall be responsible to the Dean for the proper organisation and working of the department and shall be responsible to the Directors of Research and Extension Education, respectively for the research and extension education entrusted to his department.
- (5)The Board of Studies shall perform such functions or discharge such duties as may be conferred or imposed upon them by the Statutes.
