Section 177 of The JAMMU AND KASHMIR MUNICIPAL ACT, 2000
The municipality may, within one month of the receipt of the notice required by sub-section (2) of section 176 issue––
- (a)an order directing that for a period therein specified, which shall not be longer than one month from the date of such order, the intended work shall not be proceeded with ; or
- (b)an order requiring further particulars.
