In the Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Code) for the words, figures and signs "Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Act No 2 year 1974)", wherever they occur, the words, figures and signs "Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023)" shall be substituted.
