Section 24. of Uttarakhand Haridwar University Act, 2022 — The Board of Management

(1) The Board of Management shall consist of following members namely:- (a) the Vice-Chancellor ; (b) the Pro- Vice-Chancellor(if any); (c) one member nominated by the Chancellor; (d) five persons nominated by Sponsor society; (e) two Professors of the University by rotation on the basis of seniority for a period of one year as nominated by the Chancellor; (f) two Deans of the Faculties by rotation as nominated by the Chancellor; (g) Principal Secretary/Secretary to the State Government in the Higher Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the State Government. (h) the Vice-Chancelor shall be the Chairperson of the board of Management and the Registrar shall be non-member Secretary of the Board of Management. (2) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
