Section 40 of The Maharashtra Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2023

The authorities of the university may, subject to the prior approval of the Board of Management, make Regulations, consistent with the provisions of this Act and the rules, Statutes or Ordinances made thereunder, for the conduct of their own business and of the committees appointed by them.
