Section 14 of The Maharashtra Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2023

The university shall also establish a fund, which shall be called the general fund to which following shall be credited, namely:-

1. (a)fees and other charges received by the university;
2. (b)any contribution made by the sponsoring body;
3. (c)any income received from consultancy and other works undertaken by the university;
4. (d)bequests, donations, endowments and any other grants; and
5. (e)all other sums received by the university.
