Section 15 of The JAMMU AND KASHMIR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 2000
A petitioner may claim:––
- (a)a declaration that the election of all or any of the returned candidates is void ; and
- (b)in addition thereto, a further declaration that he himself or any other candidate has been duly elected. Explanation:–– The expression “returned candidate” means a candidate whose name has been published in the 1[Government Gazette] under section 13.
