Section 4 of THE VENKATESHWARA OPEN UNIVERSITY (ATIENOMENT)ACT' 2022 (ACT NO. 7 OF 2022)

Section 10A : ln the Principal Act, after section 10, thefullowing sections shall be inserled- "104. The Visitor : - Onit Panyang, IAS Commissioner to the Govemment of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar.

1. (1)(i) The Governor ofArunachal Pradesh shallbe the'yisiro,/ ofthe University.' (ii) TheVisitor shall, when present, preside at the convocation ofthe University for confening Degrees, Oiplomas, Charters and Certificates. (2) Power of the Visitor : Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Visitor shall have the following powers namely : - (a) To callfor any paper or information relating to the afiairs of the University; (b) On the basis of the information received by the Visitor, if he is satisfied that any order, proceeding or decision taken by any authority of the University is not in conformity with the Act, Regulations or Rules, he may issue such directions as he may deem fit in the interest of the University which shall be binding to alt concemed ;'
