to the use of a furnished residence in the City of Bangalore throughout his term of office and for a period of

- (2)In a residence used by a Deputy Minister who is entitled to a house rent allowance in lieu of a furnished residence, three rooms shall be furnished by the State Government on such scales as may be prescribed, to be used for official purposes. 1[He shall be entitled for an allowance of 4[ 3[ 2[thirty thousand rupees] ] ] per month for maintenance and up keep of residence and for layout and maintenance of gardens included in such residence.]
