Section 21 of The ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, KASHMIR ACT, 2005.

(1)The accounts of the University shall, once at least in every year and at intervals of not more than fifteen months be audited by the Chartered Accountants of the University.
(2)The Finance Officer shall be responsible for having the account of the University audited in accordance with sub-section (1).
(3)A copy of the accounts when audited together with the audit report shall be submitted by the Registrar to the Chancellor, and to the Board.
