Section 8 of The Goa Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1986
Resignation of office by member and filling up of casual vacancies.
- (1)Any member may resign his office by giving notice thereof in writing, to the Government, and on such resignation being accepted, shall be deemed to have vacated his office.
- (2)A casual vacancy in the office of member may be filled up, as conveniently as may be, and a member appointed to fill such vacancy shall hold office for the unexpired portion of the term of the office of his predecessor.
