Section 9 of The Goa Investment Promotion Act, 2014

The Government shall remove a member of the Board if he,—

1. (a)is or at any time has been, adjudicated as insolvent; or
2. (b)is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; or
3. (c)has been charged of an offence which, in the opinion of the Government, involves a moral turpitude; or
4. (d)has, in the opinion of the Government, so abused his position as to render his continuation in office detrimental to the public interest: Provided that no member shall be removed under this clause unless he has been given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in the matter;
5. (e)in the opinion of the Government and for reasons to be recorded in writing, ought not to continue as a Member of the Board.
