Section 21 of The Goa Fruit and Ornamental Plant Nurseries (Regulation) Act, 1995
- (1)The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, and subject to condition of previous publication, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
- (2)In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:—
- (a)the form in which and manner of making application for licence;
- (b)the fee and security deposit for the grant of licences and renewal thereof the period for
which the conditions subject to which and the form in which licence may be granted under
section 5;
- (c)the grounds, the contravention of which by the licensee, shall entail suspension or cancellation of the licence under section 9;
- (d)the manner of determination of age of fruit and ornamental plants kept for sale;
- (e)maintenance of register;
- (f)specifying the names of insects, pests, and diseases from which progeny trees, are to be kept free from;
- (g)the fee payable in respect of duplicate licence under section 11;
- (h)the form and manner in which the period within which an appeal may be made under section 12, and the procedure to be followed by the appellant authority in disposing of the appeal; and
