Section 7 of The Goa Escheats, Forfeiture and Bona Vacantia Act, 2024
Appeal.
- (1)Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Competent Authority under section 6 may prefer an appeal to the Appellate Authority within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the notice of the decision under sub-section (1) of section 6 and the decision of the Appellate Authority on such appeal shall be final.
- (2)An appeal shall be decided by the Appellate Authority within a period of three months of such appeal being made.
- (3)The Appellate Authority shall have the power to grant interim relief on such terms and conditions as may be necessary in circumstances of each case.
- (4)No order under sub-section (1) shall be passed without giving all the persons interested an opportunity of being heard.
