Section 7 of The Goa Escheats, Forfeiture and Bona Vacantia Act, 2024

Appeal.

(1)Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Competent Authority under section 6 may prefer an appeal to the Appellate Authority within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the notice of the decision under sub-section (1) of section 6 and the decision of the Appellate Authority on such appeal shall be final.
(2)An appeal shall be decided by the Appellate Authority within a period of three months of such appeal being made.
(3)The Appellate Authority shall have the power to grant interim relief on such terms and conditions as may be necessary in circumstances of each case.
(4)No order under sub-section (1) shall be passed without giving all the persons interested an opportunity of being heard.
