425 THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH MUNICIPALI1Y DISCLOSURE ACT. 2009 (ACT NO. 5 OF 2009) (Received the assent of the Governor on 5th April, 2009 and published in the Arunachal Pradesh E.O. Gazette No. 52, Vol. XVI dated 2::nd April , 2009) AN ACT
to provide for transparency and accountability in the functioning of Municipalities in the State ofArunachal Pradesh.
BE it enacted by the Legislature ofthe State ofArunachal Pradesh in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic of the India as follows:-
1. ( 1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Short title, extent Municipality Disclosure Act, 2009;
- (2)It shall extend to such Municipalities, as may be notified by the State Government of Amnachal Pradesh from time to .ime ;
- (3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different area in the State.
