Section 21 of Tamil Nadu Registration of Marriages Act, 2009

Power of Government to give direction.

The Government may, from time to time, issue such directions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, to the Registrar, District Registrar and to the Registrar General, as it may thinks fit for the effective implementation of the provisions of this Act and they shall comply with such direction.
