Section 3 of KARNATAKA ACT NO. 21 OF 2012

Act the State Government shall constitute by notification, an Authority for development of Sahyadri Heritage to be called the Sahyadri Heritage Development Authority with its head-quarters at Shimoga consisting of such number of members specified in section 4.

(2)The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid having perpetual succession and a common seal to contract and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
