Section 22 of ACT No.9 OF 1995 ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS SECTIONS
- (2)If the Government is of the opinion that, having regard to the purposes of this Act, it would not be in the public interest to apply all or any of the provisions of this Act to any class or classes of fishing vessels used for fishing in any specified area or specified areas, it may by notification exempt, subject to such conditions as it may think fit to impose such or classes of fishing vessels used for fishing in such specified area or specified areas, as it may specify in the notification, from the operation of all or any of the provisions of this Act.
21PreviousSection 21 Offences by companies - (1) Where an offence under this Act has been committed by a company every person who, at the time the offence was committed, was in charge of, and was responsible, to the company for the conduct of the business of the company as well as the company, shall be deemed to be guilty of the offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly:23NextSection 23 Protection of action taken in good faith - (1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or any officer or authority for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any order or rule made thereunder.
