- (2)The powers, functions, appointments and conditions of service of the Heads of the Departments shall be such as may be prescribed by the Regulations.
27PreviousSection 27 Registrar - (1) An academician shall be appointed as Registrar by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Selection Committee constituted by the Executive Council and headed by the Vice-Chancellor on such terms and conditions of service as may be specified subject to the provisions of Statutes and Regulations.29NextSection 29 Other officers and employees of the University - (1) Subject to the Regulations made for the purpose, every officer or employee of the University shall be appointed in accordance with a written contract, which shall be lodged with the University, and a copy thereof shall be furnished to the officer or employee concerned.
